I was granted access to a new part of Cuyahoga Valley National Park which was acquired by them about two years ago. It was formerly Brandywine Golf Course. The land is being reclaimed and is not open to the public. Apparently the golf course fairways were subjected to chemical treatments and the park is removing all that top soil. This scene was painted on a large sandy area on the shore of the Cuyahoga River as it bends its way northward.
